Alpha Lite at TVBF

If you want to find out more about the meaning of life, an Alpha couse is a great place to start.

TVBF ran a short Alpha Lite course at the Chantry House, Market Square in Towcester, each Monday evening from Monday 31st January to 7th March 2011.

What is Alpha?

Developed over 30 years ago by Nicky Gumbel at Holy Trinity Church Brompton, this introduction to Christianity has been attended by nearly 3 million people in the UK.
Paul Knight has successfully run this Lite version of Alpha at his previous church in Swindon and TVBF is now offering people in Towcester the same opportunity to explore the meaning of life.

What's involved?

The Alpha course consists of a series of talks looking at topics such as "Who is Jesus?" and "Why and how do I pray?" After each talk we divide into small groups for a time of discussion.

Who is Alpha for?

Alpha is for everyone, especially:

• Those wanting to investigate Christianity
• New Christians
• Newcomers to the Church
• Those who want to brush up on the basics

What will it cost?

There is no charge for the Alpha course, although you may be asked for a contribution towards food.
